Spotlight on Teen Dating Violence: What's Your Role?

Join PADV for its first annual
teen dating violence summit!

Saturday, March 13, 2010
9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Clark Atlanta University

What is teen dating violence?
Teen dating violence (TDV) is a pattern of controlling and abusive behaviors that someone uses against their girlfriend or boyfriend.

It's important to teach teens about building healthy relationships while they are still forming ideas about what it means to be in a dating relationship. By learning about TDV and healthy relationships, teens can avoid patterns of abuse before they become engrained.

Who should attend this summit?

  • Teens 13 and older
  • Parents or guardians of teens
  • Educators and youth leaders

Attend this event to:

  • Learn the facts about TDV.
  • Recognize the warning signs of an abusive partner and TDV.
  • Learn how to be a resource for teens who need your help.
  • Develop tools to build healthy teen relationships.
  • Discover what your role is in preventing TDV.

Pre-registration is required.

Due to the overwhelming response from the community, the event is full with no remaining spots. Thank you for your interest.
